Anissa SAYAH
Student, program participant 2024-2025
My experience as a Mentee was extremely rewarding. It allowed me to gain perspective on my career path, clearly identify my areas for development, and benefit from personalized advice based on my Mentor's experience. Regular discussions helped me structure my thinking, better define my professional priorities, and gain confidence in my projects.

I also learned how to expand my network and seize opportunities at professional trade shows, which gave me concrete tools to land my first job.
I would strongly recommend that any student or recent graduate take advantage of this opportunity, as it offers unique support that goes beyond academics: it is a true space for listening, learning, and sharing.

It is a privilege to benefit from a supportive, objective perspective and to be able to rely on the experience of a professional to better plan for the future.

Louise-Marie Clerc
Alumnus, program participant 2022-2023
The Mentoring program was, above all, a human experience, both personally and professionally. With the help of my Mentor, I developed key areas of focus that guided me through this support process. I learned to step back from my daily work and analyze the situations that were challenging me.

Thanks to the trusting relationship with my Mentor, who was a great listener, I was able to experiment with the various pieces of advice I received between our meetings. The result of these exchanges allowed me to acquire new practical methods and daily habits.
My compatibility with my Mentor was a source of motivation throughout this journey. I looked forward to every meeting because I knew I would gain new insights. In my opinion,
the key to the success of this program is long-term commitment, being consistent with meetings, and having a genuine desire to move forward together.

At the end of the program, my Mentor took the time to meet me and discover the professional environment in which I work every day—a topic we had discussed at length. I highly recommend this Mentoring program to you, whether you are a student or a young alumnus.

BECOME A MENTOR

Each year, the BSB Foundation recruits Mentors from the BSB Alumni community (with over 10 years of professional experience) as well as employees from corporate sponsors.

At the start of the session, a training workshop is organized to present the program, its objectives, and the support tools available. A dedicated team, along with a contact person assigned to each pair at the launch of the Mentoring program, is also available throughout the year to train Mentors and support them in their relationship with their Mentee.

Why become a BSB Foundation Mentor?

  • Share your experience and support a student in their academic and professional journey
  • Contribute to equal opportunity

I am very satisfied with this mentoring experience with my mentee.

We both grew through our interactions with a constant focus on defining (and achieving) concrete progress goals during each meeting, all of which aligned with the needs we identified together at the start of the program.

A wonderful, progressive, and friendly human adventure.

Kudos to the team for handling the candidate matching! Maxime and I hit it off right from our first video call.

We immediately arranged a lunch, which also went very well. And that positive momentum continued right through to the end of the mentorship.

Our communication was truly high-quality and efficient, and Maxime was able to achieve his goals. We are still in touch with Maxime, whose internship turned into a permanent contract.

To add to the joy of this wonderful adventure, there was a great atmosphere within the Mentoring team. I hope it will be the same for future editions, because, like other Mentors, I’m signing up again!
