The LeaderSkills Institute (LSI) is a strategic initiative by BSB (Burgundy School of Business) aimed at structuring, disseminating, and strengthening leadership learning for all its students. Inspired by the vision of Laurent Vernerey, a 1983 BSB alumnus and international executive, the project is based on a strong conviction: leadership is not innate; it is learned, practiced, and measured.

The LeaderSkills Institute is built on an innovative and structured pedagogical approach:
A comprehensive skills matrix
The program is built on three main pillars:
- self-leadership
- team leadership (leading others)
- transformational leadership (acting on one's organization and environment)
Experiential pedagogy
Learning combines:
- solid academic instruction
- practical and immersive workshops
- real-world leadership scenarios
Progressive, certified assessment
The skills developed are tracked, assessed, and validated through a LeaderSkills certification framework, ensuring concrete and measurable professional growth.
Who are the program beneficiaries?
Since 2025, more than 1,700 students have already benefited from the LeaderSkills Institute program.
This first phase enabled:
- the creation of innovative teaching modules
- the rollout of experiential leadership workshops
- the emergence of an academic research dynamic on leadership skills
