Charity wine auction: €14,460 raised for School of Wine & Spirits Business students

The BSB Foundation held its 2nd auction of prestigious wines to benefit students of the School of Wine & Spirits Business.

33 lots donated by wine estates

For this 2024 edition, three patrons, including two BSB Foundation board members (Jeremy Seysses, CEO of Domaine Dujac, Antoine Prudent, and Jean-Philippe Girard, head of Dr Wine Selection), leveraged their networks to organize this exceptional sale.

In total, 33 wine lots were generously donated by wine estates and auctioned on the iDealWine platform, the world leader in online wine auctions.

This effort raised €14,460, providing tangible support for students.

Prestigious vintages featured in the sale included:

  • Burgundy : Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Richebourg, Meursault Clos des Bouchères…
  • Rhône Valley : Côte-Rôtie Belle Hélène, Saint-Joseph Tildé
  • Champagne : Billecart-Salmon Elisabeth Salmon Brut Rosé

Direct support for the Wine & Spirits Patronage Club

All funds raised go directly to the BSB Foundation’s Wine & Spirits Patronage Club, established to fund projects for the School of Wine & Spirits Business.

Through this club, several initiatives are supported, such as Excellence Scholarships, Rooted in France Scholarships , and Grands Chais Scholarships, which help train and support students in the wine industry.

Skills-based volunteering for the event

The organization of this sale was also made possible thanks to the skills-based sponsorship of Dr Wine Selection and iDealwine who provided their services to organize and support the event.

This collaboration illustrates how passion and expertise in the sector can be transformed into concrete support for the training of these future wine professionals.
