Interview with Dominique Bouvard (BSB’84), BSB Foundation Board Member

Dominique Bouvard, a 1984 graduate of the Burgundy School of Business, has served as a Director of the BSB Foundation for 5 years.

‍

With a long career and extensive experience in commercial and strategic roles at Danone, she is now an independent consultant, helping companies with their development projects by integrating a human-centric approach.

‍

What drives her? Making a tangible contribution to student success, going far beyond financial support.

‍

As a co-founder of the Foundation's Mentoring Program alongside Valerie Noury Bonin (Class of 1987), she pays special attention to projects that build connections, provide guidance and advice, and empower everyone to find their path with confidence.

What was the "spark" that led you to get involved with the BSB Foundation?

‍

Beyond the calling and the values, it was the opportunity to help provide support to the students who need it most. Beyond financial aid, it is about facilitating their entry into and success in their professional lives.

‍

Which of the projects supported by the Foundation touches you most personally?

‍

By nature, all financial aid that allows students to focus fully and calmly on their academic journey.

On a more personal note, I support projects that provide help through personalized, practical advice for professional success; the Mentoring program is one of them and is completely in line with the goal of the Foundation, and indeed the School.

As a BSB alumnus, what is the greatest satisfaction you derive from your contribution?

‍

The success of the Mentoring Program, which I actively contributed to from its inception with Valérie Noury (BSB’87), for both Mentors and Mentees alike.
