Interview with Stéphane Voyer (BSB'93), BSB Foundation Board Member

From Procter & Gamble to LVMH Japan, via Parfums Christian Dior, and currently serving as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at the investment firm Edmond de Rothschild, Stéphane Voyer (Class of 1993) has built a rich international career spanning industry, luxury, and leadership.

How does a BSB graduate view the evolution of their school thirty years after graduating?

‍

In 2024, he joined the Board of Directors of the BSB Foundation to stay closely connected to the challenges facing the new generation.

‍

Why this commitment now? Which causes resonate with him the most? And what message does he want to share with the students at the school where it all began for him?

‍

What was the "turning point" that led you to get involved with the BSB Foundation?

‍

To "give back" and try to have a positive, lasting impact.

‍

Which cause or type of project supported by the Foundation resonates with you most personally?

‍

Any form of "helping hand" for students, based on a philosophy of first or second chances.

‍

I am also a strong supporter of our "Leadership Institute"; leadership and self-confidence can be developed, and we are very intentional about this.

‍

What is your personal motto to share with the new generation?

‍

Do what you love… but do it with excellence.

‍

What excites you most about how your school has evolved since you were a student?

‍

Its commitment to core values, its substantial growth, and keeping people at the heart of everything.

‍

If you could go back in time to BSB for one day, where would you go? What would you do?

‍

I would only do it if I were sure I could meet up with my friends and challenge the current students to a game of foosball.

I would also definitely check to see if the Wine & Spirits Master’s cellar is well-stocked!
