HELPING HAND
SCHOLARSHIP

Are you a BSB student experiencing financial difficulties or facing an unexpected life event during your studies?

The BSB Foundation is by your side to support and accompany you in pursuing your education, helping you overcome these obstacles under the best possible conditions.

Apply for a Coup de Pouce grant

The Coup de Pouce grant is financial aid for students at the BSB (Burgundy School of Business) management school who are experiencing financial hardship or facing a life-altering event (loss of a parent, loss of income, major unforeseen circumstances, etc.).

It aims to support students whose living conditions have deteriorated, enabling them to continue their studies at BSB under the best possible circumstances.

In most cases, this aid contributes to covering daily expenses: rent, food, transport, or other essential costs related to student life.

Student grant amount awarded

You may be eligible for a grant of €2,000 or €3,500, depending on your personal situation and, most importantly, the diligence with which you present a clear and well-reasoned case for your financial needs.

This financial aid for students is not intended to cover tuition fees, but rather to assist with living expenses.

I was fortunate enough to receive financial support from the BSB Foundation, which was a true relief given my situation, marked by a housing crisis and a precarious standard of living. This scholarship allowed me to move forward with confidence, plan for the future, and continue my work with hope.

BSB also provided me with my very first computer during my first year and covered my entire pre-master's tuition fees. Without this help, I might never have been able to join the school, as I had neither the means to take out a bank loan nor a guarantor with sufficient income. Originally from Mayotte, my family's situation worsened even further after Cyclone Chido, which caused us to lose almost everything.

The support from BSB was a major turning point in my academic journey. Had I studied at another school, I am not sure I would have been able to continue my education.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the foundation and the entire BSB team for their support, kindness, and the trust they have placed in me. Thanks to you, I can continue to move forward with hope and look toward the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had the joy of receiving financial aid from the BSB Foundation. This support is a huge relief. Indeed, it guarantees me a certain level of comfort for my move to Lyon and spares me the stress associated with costs like rent, the security deposit, and potential agency fees.

It was with happiness that I was able to announce this to my family, who also felt relieved at the thought of not having to provide for my needs for the time being.

Furthermore,
they were reassured to see that I am supported in my studies, especially regarding essential matters like the costs incurred by student life in a business school. I thank the BSB Foundation for this donation.

I am deeply grateful for the generous scholarship I have been awarded. This financial support comes at a crucial time, as my family and I are facing significant financial difficulties due to the current economic situation in Peru.

This scholarship allows me to focus more intensely on my academic goals and professional responsibilities. I no longer have to worry about financial issues alongside my studies.

Thanks to this support,
I can dedicate myself to academic excellence and to gaining valuable experience through my work, which is essential for paying my rent and other living expenses.

This scholarship is more than just financial aid;
it is an investment in my future, allowing me to pursue my studies with determination and confidence. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity and working hard to achieve my academic and professional goals.

Thank you once again for this incredible support,
which has had a significant positive impact on my life and that of my family members. I am deeply grateful for the help provided and am motivated to give back to the community in the future.

This support represents much more than just a financial helping hand; it allows me to pursue my studies with greater peace of mind and to dedicate myself fully to my academic and professional journey.

After my preparatory classes, I joined BSB by conviction, drawn to its international management program. As part of my studies, I had the opportunity to go on an exchange to South Korea (Kyungpook National University), a project I funded by working beforehand.

Today, I want to continue on this path and pursue a double degree in marketing in South Korea (Solbridge Business School), which is a fantastic opportunity but also a financial challenge.
Thanks to this €2,000 grant, some of my financial stress has been relieved. It allows me to plan for my plane tickets with more peace of mind and focus entirely on my studies.

Furthermore, alongside my curriculum, I am keen to deepen my learning of Korean,
so this support helps me better organize my schedule and balance my academic and linguistic commitments to make the most of these coming years.

I am extremely grateful to the Foundation and BSB for this support, which allows me to pursue my project with greater serenity. Thank you so much for this invaluable help!

To understand why this support was so essential, I need to tell you a little about my situation. I lost my parents young—too young.

Leukemia took my mother when I was 14, and my father’s heart stopped when I was 17. I had no one left even though I was still a minor, and while I have always made sure to be independent, the financial reality remains a daily challenge.
I also work outside of my class hours. I cannot afford any slip-ups.

I chose BSB primarily for its Excellence scholarship. Thanks to it, I didn't have to pay my tuition fees, and that is something I will never forget. BSB is a school that reached out to me when I needed it most.

Thanks to the "Coup de pouce" (Helping Hand) scholarship, I will be able to breathe a little easier and focus on what matters: my classes, my search for a work-study placement, and my TOEIC.

I would like to address the donors of the BSB Foundation and simply say THANK YOU. Thank you for allowing me to study under better conditions.
